Join Lisbon-based artist Tanisha Raj for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you will learn the art of woodcut and create your own one-of-a-kind work of art. Whether you are an artist, a craft lover, or just curious, this workshop is all about slowing down, carving with intention, and enjoying the simple joy of making something by hand. In this two-hour session, you will learn how to safely use wood carving tools and practice on a small medium-density fibreboard. Once you are comfortable, you will create your own work of art — a unique and personal keepsake, or gift, to take home. No experience necessary. All materials provided — just bring your smiling self! Limited to twenty participants to keep it cozy and focused. Expect a meditative, creative atmosphere where you can unplug, connect with others, and explore the art of woodcut in a welcoming environment.
